Our pages are intended as a factual reference. They are not financial advice, betting guidance, prediction markets, or tips. Statistics describe what has already happened. They do not predict future performance, and readers should not use them as the basis for wagering.
Data accuracy
We publish only what we can trace to a recorded contest in our underlying dataset. Even so, source records contain the occasional error — misspelled names, miscounted shido, wrong round labels. We correct these when we find them or when readers report them, but we cannot guarantee that every statistic on every page is free of such errors.
Editorial judgment
Qualitative labels like “elite”, “established”, and “developing” are computed from quartiles of the distribution of athletes in a given weight class. They are classifications, not personal opinions about any individual athlete.
